The Tennessee "Polk Salad" Festival and Pageant is an annual event held the 2nd Saturday in May to celebrate summer with food, live bluegrass music & entertainment, cooking and talent contests, and of course poke salet will be available for tasting.
The Miss Polk Salad pageant is usually held for ages 17-27 years old in the park gazebo at 4 pm.
