Kingston
Come celebrate a small town 4th with fireworks, vendors and fun on the water in Kingston, TN

The fourth of July evokes so many images; picnics, swimming, fireworks...the list is endless.  Annually the city of Kingston hosts a fourth of July celebration that has come to be a local tradition.  Vendors, classic car shows, a parade, raft races and more await you along with an exciting culmination of fireworks.

One of the most inviting elements of the Fourth of July in Kingston is the waterfront location.  The beautiful city park located on the waterfront area provides a walking, swimming and boating location that is unparalleled. Pack a picnic lunch and make a day of it this year.

The 2008 Fourth of July "Smokin the Water" celebration includes:  drag boat races (East Coast Drag Boat Association), raft race, Miss Firecracker Pageant, children's activities, food, live entertainment, parade @ 10 am, watermelon cutting, open car show and fireworks over beautiful Watts Bar Lake.
