Historic Harriman Christmas Tour

Cornstalk Heights Historic District plays host the 2nd weekend in December for this annual home tour, now running for more than 20 years.  Explore this charming turn-of-the-century neighborhood and enjoy Southern hospitality at its best.  You will be invited into beautifully restored and decorated Victorian homes, sip hot chocolate and enjoy homemade confections at the Cookie House, visit one of the last remaining Carnegie libraries, and more - all in the 'Town that Temperance Built.'  Home Tour Info

Colonial Christmas Candlelight Tour

Experience the sights, sounds and flavors common to the people of the 18th Century!  Fort Southwest Point, the only pioneer-era fort reconstructed on its original site in Tennessee, comes alive the 2nd Saturday night in December.  Uniformed soldiers and period-dressed living history interpreters will be on the grounds, along with bagpipe serenades, and a night-time firing of the canon - all by candlelight!  Refreshments common to the our ancestors in the late 1700s will be served in the museum.  For more information about this free event call the Fort at 865-376-3641 or visit www.southwestpoint.com

The Romance of Christmas

Rekindle the magic of the season during a special concert at The Princess Theatre, a recently-renovated historic Art-Deco theatre that is now a Performing Arts, Education & Conference Center for the region.  This concert combines the spirit of the holiday season with the magic of falling in love - standing under mistletoe, white winter mornings, and cozy sleigh rides.  Singer Erica Lane’s silky voice, along with her state-of-the-art musicians from Nashville, will surely bring romance to your holidays!  Romance of Christmas website
