Since 1996, the guided bus tour includes highlights of the history of Oak Ridge and how it became a Secret City of 75,000 people with a mission to end World War II. Sites visited include Y-12 New Hope Visitor Center, Bethel Valley Church, Graphite Reactor at ORNL Spallation Neutron Source (one of the four DOE sites in the new Manhattan Project National Historical Park), Heritage Center, formerly K-25, and K-25 Overlook. Bus tour registration is offered online or in person at American Museum of Science and Energy, with seating first come, first served.
